The CAMP Skimo Tour Crampons are an ideal ski mountaineering crampon specific for ski touring boots. The Skimo Tour crampons have an aluminum alloy toe and heel with Vibram rubber anti-balling plates and nylon ankle strap. The T-stop toe bail is specific to fit ski touring boots and the adjustable heel bail can be moved to securely fit a variety of different heel welts. The ankle strap has a double-backed locking mechanism to ensure durability and a fixed closure. By substituting a Dyneema link strap, you can save another 100 grams and pack the crampons into a smaller volume. The Skimo tour varies from the even lighter Skimo Race by having an adjustable link bar for easier adjustment between boot lengths (they're also different colors).
Weighing in at 450 grams per pair, this is a featherweight crampon option that's hard not to bring in the pack.
